High energy, true TEM00 laser systems giving near diffraction limited beam divergence. These systems have a Gaussian output beam from the near to far field.
High energy true TEM00 outputs are obtained by means of an intra-cavity aperture behind the telescope within a stable telescopic resonator. The output beams from such systems typically have divergences that are within 15% of the diffraction limit. These systems therefore have output beams that are Gaussian in both the near field and far field.
