Comapct and rugged lasers with Gaussian coupled resonators give low divergence beams ideal for LIBS, OPO pumping and other applications. Energies available up to 300mJ at 1064nm and repetition rates up to 50Hz. Harmonics available up to 266nm.
The Nano LG series uses a Gaussian resonator. The pulse lengths are typically shorter than those from a conventional stable resonator.
This may be useful in certain applications but increases the peak power density that is seen by the resonator optics and subsequently by any beam handling optics that may be used.
